Getting Started at e | w pilates
Whether you’re brand new to Pilates or looking for a new studio, we’re here to welcome you into our community.
At e | w pilates, we keep our classes intentionally small so you can move safely, feel supported, and get the most out of every session.
If you have Pilates experience
If you’re familiar with Pilates equipment (such as the Reformer, Chair, or Tower), are free of any current injuries, and have a solid understanding of foundational principles—breath, alignment, core engagement, and control—you’re welcome to join our All Levels classes.
Intermediate, Advanced, Pilates Strength & Pilates/Yoga Fusion Classes
For your safety and to support the overall class experience, instructor approval is required for all Intermediate, Advanced, Pilates Strength, and Pilates/Yoga Fusion classes. This ensures you’re placed in a class that aligns with your experience and supports your continued progress.
If you’re new to Pilates
If you’re just getting started, we’ll guide you every step of the way.
For most healthy individuals, we recommend beginning with 1–4 private sessions. This allows you to:
Learn foundational movements and equipment
Receive personalized guidance and modifications
Build confidence before joining a group class
You may also begin with our Foundational Pilates classes, which are designed to introduce the method, equipment, and essential movement principles in a supportive, structured environment.
From there, we’ll help you transition into the classes that best support your goals, schedule, and experience level.
