    Erica West grew up as a competitive dancer and performer, discovering Pilates early and developing a lifelong passion for movement. She first became a certified Pilates instructor through Peak Pilates and later continued her education in 2019 with an intensive classical training mentor program rooted in the original teachings of Joseph and Clara Pilates. Erica is a Nationally Certified Pilates Instructor.

    With a strong background in movement and education in anatomy and physiology, Erica brings a thoughtful, informed approach to her teaching. She enjoys working with a wide range of clients, including the actively aging, yogis, dancers, and movement enthusiasts, as well as anyone seeking a deeper mind-body connection.

    ‍Outside the studio, Erica enjoys hot yoga, traveling, time with friends and family, good wine and performing as a professional singer throughout the Twin Cities alongside her husband, a professional guitarist

  • Mikayla Rudolf

    Individual & Small Group Class Instructor

    Mikayla Rudolf, originally from Mankato, MN, graduated from Texas Christian University (TCU) with a BFA in Ballet, a Child Development minor, Arts Leadership and Entrepreneurship Certificate, and a Pilates Teaching Certificate. She began her Pilates journey in 2019 and quickly discovered a passion for how Pilates offered numerous benefits as supplemental exercise to her dance training. After benefiting from the increased body awareness and restorative aspects of Pilates, she wanted to be able to share that with others. She then applied and was offered a place in the TCU Pilates Teacher Training program, a certification path that involves 700 hours of intensive Pilates education.

    As an instructor, Mikayla believes it is her job to foster an inclusive community of learners. She wants each client to feel a sense of belonging and be comfortable enough to always communicate with her to bring value to each session and keep practitioners safe. Mikayla is determined to create opportunities for all people to experience movement, and she admires how Pilates is a universally accessible movement practice.

    Individual & Small Group Class Instructor

    With over a decade of experience as an aerialist, Emma brings a deep appreciation for movement, body awareness, and holistic well-being to her Pilates practice. She was introduced to Pilates at a young age and later returned to the method following injuries, where she experienced its transformative power firsthand. This journey inspired her to pursue certification and share Pilates with others. Emma completed a 520-hour comprehensive classical Pilates training program in 2025 and is a Nationally Certified Pilates Instructor.

    Small Group Class Apprentice Instructor

    Maria’s Pilates journey reflects her dedication to precise, intentional movement and personal growth. Currently completing her teacher training with BASI (Body Arts and Science International), she finished her mat training in 2023 and her comprehensive equipment training in 2026. Introduced to Pilates during postnatal recovery, Maria developed a deep appreciation for functional movement and the mind–body connection. Her background as a rock climber of over 25 years brings focus, control, and attention to detail into every class at e | w pilates.

    Small Group Class Apprentice Instructor

    Rebecca's journey into the world of Pilates began several years ago when she stumbled into a class, completely unfamiliar with the practice but instantly captivated by its transformative power. This newfound passion ignited a desire within her, leading her to embark on a remarkable journey to become a a comprehensively certified Pilates instructor through the esteemed Balanced Body training program last year.

     

    Beyond her dedication to the studio, Rebecca finds joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as immersing herself in a good book, nurturing her garden, and cherishing precious moments with her husband and two delightful children. Her multifaceted interests reflect a vibrant spirit that inspires those around her, both in and out of the Pilates studio.
